Taylor Seed Takes Top Spots in FIRST Trials, With More Successful Results to Come!

Annually Taylor participates in the Farmers Independent Research Seed Trials (FIRST). These trials are held throughout the Midwest to directly compare different hybrids from various companies and give a thorough view of how these hybrids perform in differing environments and conditions. The data from these trials portray consistency and performance and are done with independent and unbiased research. By joining these trials, Taylor can demonstrate the quality and effectiveness of our hybrids compared to other companies. This information helps farmers choose the best seeds for their crops, ensuring optimal yields. Taylor’s participation in these trials highlights our dedication to transparency and excellence in our products. 

So far in the 2024 trials, Taylor Seed had two hybrids take the top spot: 6015 Trecepta® RIB Complete® Corn won in Greentop, Missouri, and was a top yielder out of 71 hybrids tested at this location, and 6013 Trecepta® RIB Complete® Corn took first place in St. Joseph, Missouri and was a top yielder out of 37 hybrids tested at this location! Our 6015 has an excellent test weight with early plant vigor and tremendous yield potential, propelling it to its first-place finish in Greentop, Missouri. It is a widely adapted hybrid in high-stress areas and high-yield environments. For more details about our 6015 hybrid, click here.
